What is the meaning in a DWH capacity report of the Deduplication Savings and Nondeduplication Capacity?
This values appear with no unit but I presume that they are reported in kB. If I apply a /1024 on those numbers I get something reasonable. In the sample row there are fields that result from some calculation I've applied.
What it also that Consumed Capacity? I got it also in the OCI server selecting the details of the storage and manual says:
Consumed Capacity (GB)
The amount of capacity in gigabytes taken from the underlying storage pool
for this internal volume, including reserved capacity, Snapshot copy used
capacity, Snapshot copy reserved capacity, and storage efficiency technology
So, how have I to consider it...the sum of these field report different value on the real consumed space in the aggregate.
here is from the DWH report.
