Taking into consideration how cf mode single image mode works by acting as one fc node on a HA filer(-7 mode) interconnect system. Considering HA is setup correctly and using ALUA in conjunction with respective host side multipathing, with fc fabric zoning and san masking; let's say configured active/passive, head A serving fc luns with igroup/masking and head B is standby no igroup/masking config. If head B take over head A, will it assume the identity of head A and continue serving fc even though there was no fc igroup config on head B? (fcp adapter configs are identical as A and online though). I ask this because with ethernet configs you configure partner to take over but I believe with fc this is not necessary when using single image. Thoughts?
Note: Proper initiator login can be seen coming from both heads and traffic on correct heads from mulitpathing can be in lun stats, no partner ops
