I am trying to add my new FAS3250 controllers to Operations Manager. When I type the name of the first controller it adds itself by the name 63.isif.state.id.us instead of its correct name. When I type the name of the second controller it adds itself by an incorrect IP address rather than its correct name. The 63 name was the original name the filer gave itself before I ran setup and the incorrect IP address is the DHCP address the second filer got before I ran setup. I have looked at the /etc/rc and /etc/hosts files and made sure they are correct. 63.isif.state.id.us does not ping and it is not in my DNS server. The incorrect IP address does not ping and it is not in my DNS server. The correct filer names and IP addresses are in my DNS server. I have done a flush dns on my workstation, the Operations Manager server and the filers. I have configured SNMP so the filers are communicating with my Solarwinds server. Does anyone know where these old settings are coming from so I can get rid of them and get my new controllers into Operations Manager?
