I inherited a Netapp environment that has many 32bit aggregates. The previous storage admin that I replaced left a snapmirror job of a source volume in 32bit aggregate. The destination is in a 64bit aggregate. I read in a NetApp documentation that this is not supported? But I can see right now that the snapmirror is working. I have not checked the contents of the destination yet.
Anyone know if I should stop this existing snapmirror? any side effects.
Also if I cannot use snapmirror, then what is my roadmap out of 32bit aggregate?
