I am going to create an 'inhouse' workshop to 'train' our staff in Snap Manager for SQL. It will be an overview of what is happening during the process, what the logs mean and common troubleshooting methods and solutions. The target will be people new to NetApp who need to check log files etc before esculatining if required.
It will have screen shots of the NetApp interface and will pull together information from different white papers and now site. I will remove site "server / database names" information before posting.
Are there any copy write issues or other reasons why I should not use this presentation as my NTN Solution?
Just getting our RISK team to say that I can enter NTN with the slides as they stand. I can confirm the workshop has resolved the issue of DBA's and the infrastructure team just pass SMSQL issues straight to me. Have not had a call since I ran the workshop. Which makes my life easy. "Document, delegate and empower someone else to do it". The way to a quite life.
Maybe they are scared I will bore them to death with power point again...
Have now posted the slides. What do you think?
