Hi,

I know two options to create NFS shares.

1) Create a Volume. Then create a Qtree then Quota on it and export as NFS

2) Create a Volume just export that as NFS

In frist method when I create two Qtrees( with Quota of max_disk_limit of 50GB each ) inside a Volume of 100GB and exported them as NFS. After mounting both NFS to a Unix machine the df command show the both the NFS shares have the same 100GB space which is equivalent to the Volume. It is not based on the Quota.

Am I doing wrong by choosing (Qtree and Quota) to create nfs shares.? whether I am doing wronging ?

Using second method the mounted nfs share have the same of Volume.

Is there any other option is availabel to create a NFS share other than converting whole VOLUME into a NFS share. Because I have to create more no of NFS shares(  >100 shares ).

Any suggestions or correction will help me.

Thanks,

Johnson
