What exactly does "concurrency" in the MyAutosupport-Overview tell me?
The explanation says: "Shows the average number of requests being handled concurrently by the controller. A consistently small concurrency (in single digits), coupled with low throughput, indicates the client application may not be generating many parallel requests to the storage controller."
I have some peaks going up to 8.x and even once it went up to 32.x. Is this bad, is this good?
Those 8.x peaks happen when backup is going on.
A little more explanation of what to expect from those numbers would be helpful. I couldn't find helpful documents.
"priority show" gives following output:
filer01> priority show Priority scheduler is stopped.
Priority scheduler system settings: io_concurrency: 8 enabled_components: all
Does this have something to do with the "concurrency" shown in MyAutosupport?
If yes, does that mean, that hitting 8.x means hitting sort of a ceiling i.e. means "bad" for me because the system cannot go further than that?
