Biography: Steve Klinkner develops storage management software for NetApp. He has worked for NetApp engineering since 1999. At NetApp, Steve has contributed to the design and implementation of FilerView, DataFabric Manager, Performance Advisor, Protection Manager and System Manager. His general interests include workflow simplicity, user interfaces, and whole product issues. Prior to NetApp, Steve worked at AT&T Bell Labs. There, he contributed a user interface to a secure peer-to-peer internet application, and an early VRML implementation. He was also the member of a rapid prototyping client-server development team. Steve has a bachelor's degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University,and master's degrees in computer science and electrical engineering from Purdue University.
