BBM Canada’s business continuity and disaster recovery strategy is comprised of reciprocal data centers (Toronto and Richmond) running virtual applications under VMware, using a NetApp FAS3020 for proprietary and business intelligence applications from Oracle and two NetApp FAS250s for the company’s Oracle database test and development environments. NetApp SnapMirror technology replicates volumes every five minutes to the reciprocal FAS3020 in Richmond.
