At NetApp, doing the right thing is part of our culture and we believe that doing the right thing for the environment is not merely an interest, but it is our responsibility. As power consumption continues to increase, landfills continue to expand, and data centers continue to multiply, our employees around the globe are committed to doing our part to reverse the impact our technology and operations - as well as those of our customers and partners - have on the environment. Furthermore, we're working to improve our own personal impact on the environment by recycling at home, reducing our energy bills, and carpooling to work; just to name a few.

Our Green Community serves as a forum for you: the customers, partners, and employees of NetApp; to share ideas and discuss the issues that you feel matter the most.  Together we can learn about trends, industry standards, efforts, projects and programs; and understand the impact we can have both on and off the job, and results we have achieved towards becoming a more environmentally responsible company.
