Training and Certification....help please.

Hello

I am a Consultant based in the United Kingdom. Currently for the last 7 years I have been working in Enterprise Management. I am looking to learn NetApp technologies.

Is there any free or very cheap online training material available and certification to take, unfortunately I do not have large amounts of money to go and attend training classes.

Please can someone advice what is available to learn NetApp technologies & their certification route.

No "exhibits" in the ns0-153 exam

Hello All,

Passed NS0-153 yesterday with 88%. However, I wanted to inform everyone on this forum that there were few questions on quotas (I hope I am not violating the NDA here). The questions were based on a scenario(an exhibit). However, there were no "exhibits". I had to take a lucky guess and I was only half lucky.

I remember someone else bringing this up sometime back on this forum. And someone from NetApp had said they would look into the problem. Looks like it has not been fixed yet.

I want to prepare myself for the NCDA exams. Does anybody know how much time you will have to answer all the questions for NSO-153/163?

And what's the actual pass mark for these exams?

Free SHIP and BEER with NFSv4 (training)?!?

In this 30 minute training session, I go through NFSv4 using the SHIP mnemonic, so you can improve your BEER consumption :-) Seriously, BEER is another mnemonic - Basic Engineering Emergent Requirements.

SHIP covers for specific areas of business and technology value in NFSv4:

Security - Authentication and Authorization
High-availability - Leased Locks and File Modes
Internationalization - Support for UNICODE file names, i.e glyph, pictures and Latin characters
Performance - Compound Operations and Delegations

NCDA - NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator

I would like to sit the exams (153 & 163) in the next couple off weeks. Does anyone have any advise or recommendations?

I have the courseware books and a year of daily NetApp admin experience but do not know what to expect from the exams.

Ie ~ the MCSE was close to the tests on www.measureup.com but I have not found a similar study aid for the NCDA.
